Title: HIGH LIFT SYSTEM FOR AN AIRCRAFT WITH A HIGH LIFT FLAP AND METHOD FOR ADJUSTING THE HIGH LIFT FLAP
Abstract:
The invention relates to a high-lift system for an aircraft with at least one high-lift flap arranged on each of the main wings (1) of the aircraft, comprising a pilot input device for generating flight-phase related commands for the at least one high-lift flap, wherein at least one start command is included in the commands, a control device with functional connection to the pilot input device with a converter function by means of which the flight-phase related commands are converted into control actions for operating a drive device for setting or adjusting the at least one high-lift flap adjustment position, wherein a defined flight phase is the start phase and the conversion function of the control device is designed such that said device, on a start command, generates control action at the drive device, such that the leading edge flap (3) of the at least one high lift flap is arranged in an adjustment position wherein there is a gap between the leading edge flap (3) and the main wing (1) with a gap width of 0.1% to 0.4% based on the local wing depth. The invention further relates to a method for adjusting at least one high lift flap on each of the main wings (1) of an aircraft.
