Abstract

A novel chemical genus of furan-2-one antifouling compound as non-toxic, environment friendly antifouling agent, a coating material for objects submerged under the water based on the furan-2-one compounds. The substituted furan-2-one antifouling compounds have a foran-2-one ring and an alkyl side chain thereto and are of the formula: where n = 6-14, representing the number of carbon atoms in said side chain.

L'invention concerne une nouvelle classe chimique d'un composé antisalissures à base de furan-2-one comme agent antisalissure écologique et non toxique, et un matériau de revêtement pour objets submergés sous l'eau à base des composés à base de furan-2-one. Les composés antisalissures substitués à base de furan-2-one possèdent un noyau de furan-2-one et une chaîne latérale alkyle attachée à celui-ci et sont de formule : où n = 6 à 14, représentant le nombre d'atomes de carbone dans ladite chaîne latérale.
