A tiled display comprising: a plurality of display tiles aligned so that they provide the emissive image area; each display tile including: a plurality of light-emitting pixels arranged in groups of pixels; a plurality of sequentially arranged pixel drive circuits and each pixel drive circuit being electrically connected to a particular group of pixels for controlling the light emission of such pixels; one or more signal communication line(s) for providing data for controlling the operation of each pixel drive circuit; and each pixel drive circuit controlling the light emission of its corresponding group of pixels and providing information to the next sequential pixel drive circuit to cause such next sequential pixel drive circuit to respond to its corresponding data to control the operation of its group of light-emitting pixels and repeating this operation until a predetermined number of pixel drive circuits have caused the desired light emission.

L'invention porte sur un dispositif d'affichage mosaïque comprenant : une pluralité de mosaïques d'affichage alignées de telle sorte qu'elles forment la zone d'image émissive; chaque mosaïque d'affichage comprenant : une pluralité de pixels émettant de la lumière disposés dans des groupes de pixels; une pluralité de circuits d'attaque de pixel disposés de manière séquentielle, chaque circuit d'attaque de pixel étant électriquement connecté à un groupe particulier de pixels pour commander l'émission de lumière de ces pixels; une ou plusieurs lignes de communication de signal pour fournir des données pour commander l'opération de chaque circuit d'attaque de pixel; et chaque circuit d'attaque de pixel commandant l'émission de lumière de son groupe de pixels correspondant et fournissant des informations au circuit d'attaque de pixel séquentiel suivant pour amener ce circuit d'attaque de pixel séquentiel suivant à répondre à ses données correspondantes pour commander l'opération de son groupe de pixels émettant de la lumière et répétant cette opération jusqu'à ce qu'un nombre prédéterminé de circuits d'attaque de pixel aient provoqué l'émission de lumière souhaitée.
