A method of constructing a concrete structure and an adjustable brace system therefor includes a plurality of adjustable brace assemblies capable of providing structural support for construction of a floor structure above and for an uncured concrete wall in the concrete forms. The adjustable brace system comprises an elongated first support, an elongated second support, and a cap. The first and second supports have dimensions to allow the first support to slidably engage at least a portion the second support. A plurality of apertures are positioned in the first and second supports to enable the apertures in the first support to align with the apertures in the second support, and fasteners are secured through aligned apertures to provide for adjustability of the adjustable brace system. The cap is capable of supporting a steel truss in position for a floor structure above.

L'invention porte sur un procédé de construction d'une structure en béton et d'un système d'étançonnement réglable pour celui-ci qui comprend une pluralité d'ensembles d'étançonnement réglables capables d'assurer un support structurel pour la construction d'une structure de plancher au-dessus et pour une paroi de béton non durcie dans les coffrages. Le système d'étançonnement réglable comprend un premier support allongé, un second support allongé et un capuchon. Les premier et second supports ont des dimensions permettant au premier support de venir en prise par coulissement avec au moins une partie du second support. Une pluralité d'ouvertures sont positionnées dans les premier et second supports pour permettre aux ouvertures dans le premier support de s'aligner avec les ouvertures dans le second support, et des organes de fixation sont fixés à travers des ouvertures alignées pour assurer le caractère réglable du système d'étançonnement réglable. Le capuchon est capable de supporter une ferme en acier en position pour une structure de plancher au-dessus.
