The present invention relates to a method for processing digital signals and to a transmission/reception system implementing said method; the present invention is based on the use of LDPC codes, in particular the LDPC code of the DVB-S2 standard, in combination with a QAM modulation, in particular the 1024QAM and 4096QAM modulations; in transmission, a bit permutation (Demux) is carried out prior to the QAM constellation mapping function; in reception, the bit permutation is carried out after the QAM constellation demapping function.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de traitement de signaux numériques et un système d'émission/réception utilisant ledit procédé. La présente invention est basée sur l'utilisation de codes LDPC, en particulier le code LDPC de la norme DVB-S2, combinés avec une modulation QAM, en particulier les modulations 1024QAM et 4096QAM. Lors de l'émission, une permutation de bits (Demux) est exécutée avant la fonction de mappage de la constellation QAM; lors de la réception, cette permutation de bits est exécutée après la fonction de démappage de la constellation QAM.
