A compound of Formula (1) and salts thereof: wherein: A is optionally substituted heterocyclyl; X is N or C-CN; R1 is H or a substituent;R2 and R3 are independently H, optionally substituted alkyl, optionallysubstituted aryl, optionally substituted heterocyclyl or - SO2 R4, wherein R4 is optionally substituted optionally substituted aryl or optionally substituted heterocyclyl; and provided that the compound of Formula (1) has attached, either directly or through a substituent, at least one ionic water solubilising group selected from the group consisting of CO2H, COSH, SO3H and PO3H2. Also compositions, inks, ink-jet printing processes, printed materials and ink-jet cartridges.

L'invention porte sur un composé représenté par la formule (1) et sur des sels de celui-ci dans laquelle : A représente hétérocyclyle facultativement substitué ; X représente N ou C-CN ; R1 représente H ou un substituant ; R2 et R3 représentent indépendamment H, alkyle facultativement substitué, aryle facultativement substitué, hétérocyclyle facultativement substitué ou -SO2R4, R4 représentant aryle facultativement substitué ou hétérocyclyle facultativement substitué ; et à condition que soit attaché au composé représenté par la Formule (1), soit directement soit par l'intermédiaire d'un substituant, au moins un groupe ionique de solubilisation dans l'eau choisi dans le groupe constitué par CO2H, COSH, SO3H et PO3H2. L'invention porte également sur des compositions, des encres, des procédés d'impression par jet d'encre, des matières imprimées et des cartouches pour impression par jet d'encre.
