A method for operating a multi-track rotary valve having plural tracks for the separate introduction to vessels of at least 3 feed streams and the separate recovery from the vessels of at least 3 product streams and for simultaneous change of the flow paths of the streams. At least one stream is selected and maintained at lower pressure than the other streams so that any leakage flows from the other streams to the at least one selected stream.

L'invention concerne un procédé de fonctionnement d'une vanne rotative à plusieurs voies ayant plusieurs voies à des fins d'introduction séparée dans des cuves d'au moins 3 flux d'alimentation et de récupération séparée en provenance des cuves d'au moins 3 flux de produits et pour le changement simultané des trajectoires d'écoulement des flux. Au moins un flux est sélectionné et maintenu à une pression inférieure par rapport aux autres flux de sorte que toute fuite s'écoule en provenance des autres flux jusqu’au(x) flux sélectionnés.
