Disclosed is a fluorescent oligonucleotide probe having a higher degree of flexibility in designing and wide applicability.  Also disclosed is use of the oligonucleotide probe. Specifically disclosed is an oligonucleotide probe capable of forming a stem and a loop therein.  The oligonuleotide probe comprises: at least one fluorophore which is located between adjacent nucleotides in the stem and is linked to a unit represented by formula (1); and at least one quencher which is located at a site capable of pairing up with the at least one fluorophore located between the adjacent nucleotides in the stem and is linked to a unit represented by formula (2). [In the formulae, X represents a fluorophore; Y represents a quencher; R1 represents an alkylene chain which has 2 or 3 carbon atoms and may be substituted; R2 represents an alkylene chain which has 0 to 2 (inclusive) carbon atoms and may be substituted; and Z represents a direct bond or a linker.]

L'invention porte sur une sonde oligonucléotidique fluorescente ayant un degré supérieur de flexibilité dans l'agencement et de larges possibilités d'application. L'invention porte également sur l'utilisation de la sonde oligonucléotidique. De façon spécifique, l'invention porte sur une sonde oligonucléotidique capable de former une tige et une boucle dans celle-ci. La sonde oligonucléotidique comprend : au moins un fluorophore qui est situé entre des nucléotides adjacents dans la tige et est lié à l'unité représentée par la formule (1); et au moins un extincteur de luminescence qui est situé sur un site capable de s'apparier avec au moins un fluorophore situé entre les nucléotides adjacents dans la tige et est lié à une unité représentée par la formule (2). [Dans les formules, X représente un fluorophore; Y représente un extincteur de luminescence; R1 représente une chaîne alkylène qui a 2 ou 3 atomes de carbone et qui peut être substituée; R2 représente une chaîne alkylène qui a 0 à 2 (inclus) atomes de carbone et qui peut être substituée; et Z représente une liaison directe ou un lieur.]
