A liquid crystal display device (10) has a function of imaging a subject to be imaged.  The liquid crystal display device (10) is provided with a liquid crystal panel (11) which transmits entered light and can vary transmissivity of the light; a backlight (15) which radiates light ranging from visible light to non-visible light to the liquid crystal panel (11); and an optical sensor (2), which is arranged in the liquid crystal panel (11) and receives at least infrared light (non-visible light) that enters the liquid crystal panel (11).  The ratio of the visible light radiated to the subject to the non-visible light is adjusted, and the subject is imaged by at least the non-visible light.  Therefore, an imaging function and a display function are both provided and at least imaging by non-visible light is made possible.

L’invention concerne un dispositif d’affichage à cristaux liquides (10) ayant une fonction d’imagerie d’un sujet devant être imagé. Le dispositif d’affichage à cristaux liquides (10) comprend un panneau à cristaux liquides (11) qui transmet la lumière entrée et qui peut modifier la capacité de transmission de la lumière ; un rétroéclairage (15) qui diffuse la lumière s’étendant de la lumière visible à la lumière non visible vers le panneau à cristaux liquides (11) ; et un capteur optique (2), qui est agencé dans le panneau à cristaux liquides (11) et qui reçoit au moins la lumière infrarouge (lumière non visible) pénétrant dans le panneau à cristaux liquides (11).  液晶表示装置(10)は、撮像対象を撮像する機能を有する液晶表示装置(10)であって、入射した光を透過させ、かつ当該光の透過率を変更可能な液晶パネル(11)と、可視光から非可視光までの範囲の光を液晶パネル(11)に照射するバックライト(15)と、液晶パネル(11)内に設けられ、液晶パネル(11)に入射する少なくとも赤外光(非可視光)を受光する光センサ(2)とを備え、上記撮像対象に照射される上記可視光と上記非可視光との比率を調整し、少なくとも上記非可視光により上記撮像対象を撮像するので、撮像機能と表示機能とを両立させ、少なくとも非可視光による撮像を可能にする。
