Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung (1) und Verfahren für die Simulation eines Schweißprozesses, mit einem Computer (2) mit einer Eingabevorrichtung (11) und einer Ausgabevorrichtung (6), einem Schweißbrenner (3), einer magnetischen Positionsüberwachungsvorrichtung mit zumindest einem Geber und mehreren Sensoren, einer Haltevorrichtung (15) für ein zur Simulation dienendes Werkstück (4) und einer Visualisierungsvorrichtung (16) zur Erzeugung eines zwei- oder dreidimensionales Bildes an der Ausgabevorrichtung (6). Die Haltevorrichtung (15) weist eine Vertiefung auf, in die das Werkstück (4) einsteckbar ist, wobei zumindest ein Geber von der Positionsüberwachungsvorrichtung unterhalb der Vertiefung in einer möglichst geringen Distanz zum Werkstück angeordnet ist, und die Haltevorrichtung (15) in Form einer kleinen, tragbaren Box zum Aufstellen auf einen Tisch (10) ausgebildet ist.

The invention relates to a device (1) and a method for simulating a welding process. The device comprises a computer (2) having an input device (11) and an output device (6), a welding torch (3), a magnetic position monitoring device having at least one transmitter and a plurality of sensors, a retaining device (15) for a workpiece (4) used for the simulation and a visualization device (16) for generating a two- or three-dimensional image on the output device (6). The retaining device (15) has a recess into which the workpiece (4) can be inserted, at least one transmitter of the position monitoring device being arranged below the recess at as small a distance from the workpiece as possible, and the retaining device (15) being designed as a small, portable box to be placed on a table (10).

L'invention concerne un dispositif (1) et un procédé pour simuler un processus de soudage. Le dispositif (1) comprend un ordinateur (2) présentant un dispositif d'entrée (11) et un dispositif de sortie (6), un chalumeau de soudage (3), un dispositif de surveillance de position magnétique (5) présentant au moins un transmetteur (13) et plusieurs capteurs (14), un dispositif de retenue (15) destiné à une pièce à usiner (4) utilisée pour ladite simulation, et un dispositif de visualisation (16) pour produire une image bidimensionnelle ou tridimensionnelle (29) sur le dispositif de sortie (6). Le dispositif de retenue (15) présente un évidement (18) dans lequel on peut insérer la pièce à usiner (4), au moins un transmetteur (13) du dispositif de surveillance de position magnétique (5) étant disposé sous le évidement (18), à une distance la plus faible possible de la pièce, et le dispositif de retenue (15) se présentant sous la forme d'une petite boîte portable (19) à placer sur une table (10).
