Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Zelle, welche derart gentechnisch verändert wurde, dass sie im Vergleich zu ihrem Wildtyp mehr 2-Hydroxyisobuttersäure oder 2-Hydroxyisobuttersäure-Monomereinheiten enthaltende Polyhydroxyalkanoate zu bilden vermag, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Bildung von 2-Hydroxyisobuttersäure oder von 2-Hydroxyisobuttersäure-Monomereinheiten enthaltenden Polyhydroxyalkanoaten über Acetoacetyl-Coenzym A als Zwischenprodukt und 3-Hydroxybutyryl-Coenzym A als Vorprodukt erfolgt.

The invention relates to a cell which has been genetically modified such that it is able to form more 2-hydroxyisobutyric acid or polyhydroxyalkanoates containing 2-hydroxyisobutyric acid monomer units, characterized in that the formation of 2-hydroxyisobutyric acid or polyhydroxyalkanoates containing 2-hydroxyisobutyric acid monomer units takes place by acetoacetyl coenzyme A as an intermediate product and 3-hydroxybutyryl coenzyme A as a preliminary product.

L'invention porte sur une cellule qui a subi une modification génétique de façon à pouvoir former, par comparaison avec son type sauvage, une quantité plus importante de polyhydroxyalcanoates contenant de l'acide 2-hydroxyisobutyrique ou des motifs monomères d'acide 2-hydroxyisobutyrique, caractérisée par le fait que la formation des polyhydroxyalcanoates contenant de l'acide 2-hydroxyisobutyrique ou des motifs monomères d'acide 2-hydroxyisobutyrique a lieu par l'intermédiaire d'acétoacétyl-coenzyme A en tant que produit intermédiaire et de 3-hydroxybutyryl-coenzyme A en tant que précurseur.
