(EN)Disclosed is a method for producing a molded fluoride crystal article which has a different shape from that of a fluoride crystal base and has excellent optical properties readily. The method comprises heating the fluoride crystal base at a temperature lower than the melting point of the fluoride crystal base while compressing to mold the fluoride crystal base into a predetermined shape.  In the method, the fluoride crystal base is compressed to initiate the deformation of the fluoride crystal base through recrystallization and the deformation is allowed to proceed until the fluoride crystal base has the predetermined shape.
(FR)L’invention concerne un procédé de production d’un article en cristal de fluorure moulé qui a une forme différente de celle d’une base en cristal de fluorure et a facilement d’excellentes propriétés optiques. Le procédé comprend le chauffage de la base en cristal de fluorure à une température inférieure au point de fusion de la base en cristal de fluorure tout en effectuant une compression pour mouler la base en cristal de fluorure en une forme prédéfinie. Dans le procédé, la base en cristal de fluorure est comprimée pour initier sa déformation par recristallisation et la déformation peut continuer jusqu'à ce que la base en cristal de fluorure ait une forme prédéfinie.
