(EN)A honeycomb structure comprising a honeycomb unit containing inorganic particles and an inorganic binder and having multiple through-holes laid parallelly in the longitudinal direction thereof with a partition wall interposed therebetween and, provided on the periphery thereof, a coat layer. The coat layer has a specific heat capacity whose ratio to the specific heat capacity of the honeycomb unit is 1.0 or less.
(FR)L'invention concerne une structure en nid d'abeille comprenant une unité en nid d'abeille qui contient des particules inorganiques et un liant inorganique, et présente de multiples trous traversant disposés parallèlement à sa direction longitudinale, une paroi cellulaire étant interposée entre lesdits trous traversant. Une couche de revêtement est disposée sur la périphérie de l'unité en nid d'abeille. Ladite couche de revêtement possède une capacité thermique dont le rapport à la capacité thermique de l'unité en nid d'abeille est égal à 1,0 ou moins.
