(EN)A honeycomb structure having honeycomb units which each contain inorganic particles and an inorganic binder and have the configuration of multiple cells extending from one end face to the other end face along the longitudinal direction thereof partitioned by a cell wall, the honeycomb units bonded together by an adhesion material so that the cells have their through-holes aligned in the same direction. The honeycomb structure is characterized in that the rate of ammonia desorbed per mass of the honeycomb units as measured in accordance with the NH3-TPD method is 5 to 100 times that per mass of the adhesion material.
(FR)L'invention porte sur une structure en nid d'abeilles faite d'unités contenant chacune des particules minérales et un liant minéral et présentant une configuration de cellules multiples s'étendant d'une face d'extrémité à l'autre le long de sa direction longitudinale et séparées par des parois cellulaires, les unités du nid d'abeilles étant liées ensemble par un matériau adhésif de manière à ce que leurs ouvertures traversantes soient alignées dans une même direction. Ladite structure se caractérise en ce que la teneur en ammoniac mesurée par la méthode NH3-TPD soit de 5 à 100 fois la teneur massique du matériau adhésif.
