(EN)The object is to develop a process for producing cis-4-hydroxy-L-proline economically and efficiently. Thus, disclosed is L-proline cis-4-hydroxylase.  This enzyme may be derived from a bacterium Mesorhizobium loti which is a leguminous bacterium specific to birdsfoot trefoil or a bacterium Sinorhizobium meliloti which is a leguminous bacterium specific to alfalfa.  Also disclosed is a process for producing cis-4-hydroxy-L-proline from L-proline by using the enzyme.  Further disclosed is a recombinant vector carrying a polynucleotide encoding the enzyme.  Still further disclosed is a transformant harboring the vector.
(FR)La présente invention concerne un procédé économique et efficace de production de cis-4-hydroxy-L-proline. L'invention concerne également une L-proline cis-4-hydroxylase. Cette enzyme peut être dérivée de Mesorhizobium loti qui est une bactérie des légumineuses spécifique du lotier corniculé ou de Sinorhizobium meliloti qui est une bactérie des légumineuses spécifique de la luzerne. L'invention concerne également un procédé de production de cis-4-hydroxy-L-proline à partir de L-proline au moyen de l'enzyme.
