(EN)An apparatus and method for fixed pattern noise (FPN) correction in an image sensor utilizes at least one row of test pixels. An external voltage is applied to each pixel circuit in the at least one row. Thus, the output of the test pixels does not depend on the photo or dark current signals. The applied voltage is used to determine a column offset error for each column in the image sensor.
(FR)L'invention concerne un appareil et un procédé de correction du bruit à motif fixe (FPN, Fixed Pattern Noise) dans un capteur d'image, lesquels utilisent au moins une rangée de pixels de test. On applique une tension externe à chaque circuit de pixel dans ladite rangée au moins. Ainsi, la sortie des pixels de test ne dépend pas des signaux de photo-courant ou de courant d'obscurité. La tension appliquée est utilisée pour déterminer une erreur de décalage de colonne pour chaque colonne du capteur d'image.
