(EN)The invention relates to a process for manufacturing a combustible gas having a calorific value below at least 1 MJ/Nm3, comprising the reaction of an oxidizing gas comprising steam or oxygen or CO2 with an organic material (33) in contact with a molten silicate bath (32) contained in a tank and comprising a heat input (38) into the molten silicate, said process operating continuously, silicate being regularly discharged (37) from the tank and batch materials being regularly introduced in order to supply the silicate bath. The heat input is preferably of the submerged combustion type.
(FR)L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication de gaz combustible ayant un pouvoir calorifique inférieur d'au moins 1 MJ/Nm3, comprenant la réaction d'un gaz oxydant comprenant de la vapeur d'eau ou de l'oxygène ou du C02 avec une matière organique (33) en contact avec un bain de silicate fondu (32) contenu dans une cuve et comprenant un apport calorifique (38) dans le silicate fondu, ledit procédé fonctionnant en continu, du silicate étant régulièrement évacué (37) de la cuve et des matières vitrifiables étant régulièrement introduites pour alimenter le bain de silicate. L'apport calorifique est de préférence du type combustion immergée.
