Abstract:
(EN) Disclosed is an apparatus and methodology for providing an RFID device for integration into a tire. A printed circuit board (PCB) is provided with notches in opposed ends of the PCB that are provided with guide portions as a part of the notches that function as threads to guide an end portion of a matching single pitch helical antenna into appropriately placed vias on the PCB. Threading of the helical antenna is assisted by use of an assembly jig having antenna guiding channels and PCB retaining positioning elements.
(FR) L'invention porte sur un appareil et une méthodologie pour fournir un dispositif d'identification radiofréquence (RFID) en vue d'une intégration dans un pneu. Une carte de circuit imprimé (PCB) est pourvue d'encoches formées dans des extrémités opposées de la PCB qui comportent des parties de guidage en tant que parties des encoches qui font office de filets pour guider une partie d'extrémité d'une antenne en hélice à pas unique correspondant dans des trous d'interconnexion placés de façon appropriée sur la PCB. Le vissage de l'antenne hélicoïdale est facilité par l'utilisation d'un bâti d'assemblage comprenant des passages de guidage d'antenne et des éléments de positionnement retenant la PCB.
