(EN)The present invention relates to a cyanide-free process of isolating precious metal gold from a particulate material containing said metal, comprising the following steps of (i) preparing an aqueous mixture containing said particulate material and biomass comprising having an S-LAYER or archaea having an S-LAYER; eubacteria and archaea, algae, and fungi; said biomass being capable of adsorbing said metal; (ii) incubating said aqueous mixture of step (i) for allowing binding of said metal to said biomass; (iii) separating the biomass having bound metal from the aqueous mixture of step (ii); and (iv) isolating the metal from said biomass separated in step (iii).
(FR)La présente invention concerne un procédé sans cyanure d’isolement du métal précieux or à partir d’un matériau particulaire contenant ledit métal, comprenant les étapes suivantes consistant à (i) préparer un mélange aqueux contenant ledit matériau particulaire et de la biomasse comprenant une couche S ou des archéobactéries ayant une couche S; des eubactéries et des archéobactéries, des algues et des champignons; ladite biomasse étant capable d’adsorber ledit métal; (ii) incuber ledit mélange aqueux de l’étape (i) pour permettre la liaison dudit métal à ladite biomasse; (iii) séparer la biomasse à laquelle le métal est lié du mélange aqueux de l’étape (ii); et (iv) isoler le métal à partir de ladite biomasse séparée dans l’étape (iii).
