(EN)Provided are: a highly-transparent β-pinene copolymer having excellent heat-resistance and light-resistance and exhibiting low water absorption; and a molded article comprising the same. The β-pinene copolymer comprises 30 to 80 mass% of β-pinene units and 70 to 20 mass% of aromatic monomer units such as α-methylstyrene, and is obtained by hydrogenating and adding at least 80 mol% of olefinic double bonds and preferably at least 50 mol% of aromatic rings derived from aromatic monomers.
(FR)Cette invention concerne un copolymère de β-pinène très transparent ayant une excellente résistance à la chaleur et tenue à la lumière et manifestant une basse absorption d'eau; et un article moulé le contenant. Le copolymère de β-pinène selon l'invention comprend de 30 à 80 % en poids de motifs β-pinène et de 70 à 20 % en poids de motifs monomères aromatiques du type α-méthylstyrène, et est obtenu par hydrogénation et ajout d'au moins 80 % en mole de doubles liaisons oléfiniques et, de préférence, d'au moins 50 % en mole de cycles aromatiques dérivés de monomères aromatiques.
