Title: ROTATION-RESISTANCE DEVICE FOR MACHINE TOOL MAIN SHAFT DRIVE
Abstract:
The rotational pulsing of a main shaft drive is limited, and the rigidity of the main shaft is increased without increasing bearing size when a workpiece is finished while rotating using the machine tool main shaft drive. A rotation-resistance device that is configured as described below is provided in the main shaft drive for a machine tool having a main shaft (4) that is supported to be able to rotate relative to frame main body (2), a rotating body (65) that is fixed to the end of the main shaft (4), and a drive (6) that rotates the rotating body (65). The rotation-resistance device has a damping device (10) that has a damping element comprising an elastically deformable damping part provided on the frame main body (2) or the rotating body (65), a compressive force application device (66) that applies compressive force to the damping element using a working fluid, and a damping surface (32) provided on the frame main body (2) side. The damping device (10) applies compressive force to the damping part, causing flexure, thereby causing the damping surface (32) and a sliding surface (33) to press against each other so that rotational resistance that allows rotation is applied to the rotating body (65). A low friction coefficient member (60) is fixed to at least the damping surface (32) or the sliding surface (33).
