(EN)Processes for the catalytic conversion of a carbonaceous composition into a gas stream comprising methane are provided, where a sour shift reaction is used to remove carbon monoxide gas stream produced by the gasification process. The incorporation of the sour shift reaction provides an efficient and cost-effective means of eliminating carbon monoxide from the gas stream. In addition, the sour shift reaction also generates additional hydrogen, thus increasing the amount of hydrogen produced from the gasification process.
(FR)La présente invention concerne des procédés pour la conversion catalytique d’une composition carbonée en flux de gaz comprenant du méthane, une réaction de déplacement acide étant utilisée pour éliminer le flux de gaz de monoxyde de carbone produit par le processus de gazéification. L’incorporation de la réaction de déplacement acide constitue un moyen efficace et économique d’éliminer le monoxyde de carbone du flux de gaz. De plus, la réaction de déplacement acide génère en outre de l’hydrogène additionnel, ce qui augmente la quantité d’hydrogène produit par le processus de gazéification.
