Abstract:
(EN) A method of producing a multi-layer product that includes an extruded polymeric layer comprising an enhancer composition is disclosed. The disclosed product is produced by applying an enhancer composition (25) onto a transfer surface (22), such as that of a chill roll (12) on an extruder station(lθ), and then contacting the applied transfer surface against molten polymer (24) either before or during extrusion process of the molten polymer onto a substrate (20). The enhancer composition may impart functional and/or decorative properties to the treated substrate. When desired, the enhancer composition may be applied onto the transfer surface using an electrostatic spraying device.
(FR) La présente invention porte sur un procédé de fabrication d'un produit multicouche qui comprend une couche polymère extrudée comprenant une composition améliorante. Le produit divulgué est produit par application d'une composition améliorante (25) sur une surface de transfert (22), telle que celle d'un rouleau refroidisseur (12) sur une station d'extrusion (l0) et, ensuite, la mise en contact de la surface de transfert appliquée contre le polymère fondu (24) soit avant, soit pendant le procédé d'extrusion du polymère fondu sur un substrat (20). La composition améliorante peut transmettre des propriétés fonctionnelles et/ou décoratives au substrat traité. Lorsque cela est souhaité, la composition améliorante peut être appliquée sur la surface de transfert à l'aide d'un dispositif de pulvérisation électrostatique.
