(EN)Connections are provided for cells within a battery module comprising a plurality of cells and also to provide connection between modules in a multi-modular battery system, the connectors are designed to enable improved ventilation of the battery system to minimise over heating and cell failure, increased resistance to short circuit hazards under critical cell failure and appropriate insulation can also be provided. The battery system and its use, particularly in battery powered vehicles is also provided.
(FR)L'invention permet d'établir des connexions entre les cellules d'un module de batterie comprenant une pluralité de cellules et aussi d'établir une connexion entre des modules appartenant à un système de batterie multimodulaire. Les connecteurs selon l'invention ont été conçus pour améliorer la ventilation du système de batterie et minimiser de la sorte la surchauffe et la défaillance des celules, pour augmenter la résistance aux courts-circuits lors d'une défaillance critique des cellules et pour fournir une isolation appropriée.
