Abstract
(EN) The present invention provides a process for producing an electroactive substrate. The process includes providing a substrate having an oxidant layer on a surface thereof, exposing the surface containing the oxidant layer to a vapour containing an aryl or heteroaryl monomer that is polymerizable to form an electroactive polymer, and polymerizing the aryl or heteroaryl monomer in the presence of a volatile Lewis base to form a polyaryl or polyheteroaryl electroactive polymer film on the surface of the substrate. The invention also provides electroactive substrates formed by the process.
(FR) La présente invention porte sur un procédé de fabrication d'un substrat électro-actif. Le procédé comprend les opérations consistant à se procurer un substrat ayant une couche d'oxydant sur une surface de celui-ci, exposer la surface contenant la couche d'oxydant à une vapeur contenant un monomère arylique ou hétéroarylique qui est polymérisable pour former un polymère électro-actif et polymériser le monomère arylique ou hétéroarylique en présence d'une base de Lewis volatile pour former un film de polymère électro-actif polyarylique ou polyhétéroarylique sur la surface du substrat. L'invention porte également sur des substrats électro-actifs formés par le procédé.
