(EN)The present invention relates to a system for detecting microbial contamination of a liquid specimen comprising a device for concentrating micro-organisms from a liquid specimen, having (i) a hyperbaric chamber, (ii) a filter housing comprising a liquid-permeable bed of an adsorbent material and adapted for being fluidly connected to said hyperbaric chamber, and (iii) a means for pressurizing said hyperbaric chamber, said system further comprising a kit for detection of micro-organisms adsorbed to said adsorbent material, wherein said kit is based on enzymatic detection using chromogenic and/or fluorescent substrate analogues.
(FR)L'invention concerne un système de détection de contamination microbienne d'un échantillon de liquide comprenant un dispositif destiné à concentrer les micro-organismes d'un échantillon de liquide constitué (i) d'une chambre hyperbare, (ii) d'un boîtier de filtre muni d'un lit de matériau adsorbant perméable aux liquides et conçu pour être en communication fluidique avec ladite chambre hyperbare, et (iii) d'un moyen de mise sous pression de ladite chambre hyperbare. Ledit système comprend également un kit de détection des micro-organismes adsorbés sur le matériau adsorbant, ledit kit étant basé sur une détection enzymatique utilisant des analogues de substrat chromogène et/ou fluorescent.
