(EN)Various embodiments of an implantable spinal fixation device are provided herein. In general, the device can include an elongate member having a first end and a second end having a center-line extending therebetween. Further, the elongate member can include any number of bone screw receiving thru-hole(s) positioned proximate (e.g., along or offset from) the center of the elongate member. Further, the device can include a position-adjustable coupling element proximate the thru-hole(s), and configured to releasably engage a spinal fixation element. Additionally, methods of occipital coupling of a spinal fixation element are provided herein.
