Abstract: front page image
(EN)The method for large scale production of a full length Schistosomal paramyosin coiled coil dimer composition is carried out by providing a composition comprising recombinant paramyosin, contacting the composition with a strand separation agent to remove paramyosin fragments and other contaminants. The purified paramyosin is used in vaccines for humans and bovine animals to induce immunity against schistosomal infection.
