(EN)Disclosed is a multilayer optical film which is excellent in transmittance and degree of polarization, and is prevented from entry of foreign matters between a polarizer and an optical compensation film. Also disclosed is a method for producing such a multilayer optical film. Specifically disclosed is a multilayer optical film comprising, in the following order, a long polarizer having an absorption axis in the longitudinal direction, a long optical compensation film having an indicatrix satisfying nx > ny ≥ nz, and an optical compensation layer having an indicatrix satisfying nx = ny > nz. In this multilayer optical film, the anglebetween the slow axis of the optical compensation film and the absorption axis of the polarizer is 5-85˚.
(FR)L'invention porte sur un film optique multicouche qui a d'excellentes caractéristiques en termes de facteur de transmission et de degré de polarisation, et qui empêche des matières étrangères d'entrer entre un polariseur et un film de compensation optique. L'invention porte également sur un procédé de fabrication d'un tel film optique multicouche. L'invention porte tout particulièrement sur un film optique multicouche qui comporte, dans l'ordre suivant, un polariseur long ayant un axe d'absorption dans la direction longitudinale, un film de compensation optique long ayant une indicatrice de diffusion satisfaisante nx > ny ≥ nz, et une couche de compensation optique ayant une indicatrice de diffusion satisfaisante nx = ny > nz.
