Abstract

The present invention relates to compounds conformationally constrained mimetics of Smac with function as inhibitors of Inhibitor of Apoptosis Proteins (IAPs), the invention also relates to the use of these compounds in therapy, wherein the induction of apoptotic cell death is beneficial, especially in the treatment of cancer, alone or in combination with other active ingredients.

La présente invention porte sur des composés qui sont des mimétiques contraints, du point de vue de la conformation, de Smac, lesquels agissent en tant qu'inhibiteurs de l'inhibiteur de protéines de l'apoptose (IAP). L'invention porte également sur l'utilisation de ces composés dans une thérapie où l'induction de la mort cellulaire apoptotique est utile, notamment dans le traitement du cancer, individuellement ou en combinaison avec d'autres ingrédients actifs.
