(EN)Compositions and methods for enhancing hyperpolarization-activated cation inward current and disrupting inwardly rectifying potassium current of cells are described. The compositions and methods may be employed to cause the cells to become biological pacemaker cells, e.g. to become more like SA node cells, and to undergo spontaneous oscillating action potentials.
