(EN)Methods are provided herein for determining antioxidant activity of a test sample in intact cells. The method includes determining the antioxidant capacity of a test sample in intact red blood cells, wherein the test sample is added to intact red blood cells and oxidative damage is measured by alteration of fluorescence intensity of an oxidation-sensitive fluorescent indicator dye.
(FR)L'invention concerne des procédés permettant de déterminer dans des cellules intactes l'activité des antioxydants contenus dans un échantillon de test. Le procédé comprend la détermination dans des globules rouges intacts de la capacité des antioxydants contenus dans un échantillon de test. L'échantillon de test est ajouté à des globules rouges intacts et la dégradation oxydative de ces derniers est mesurée par la variation de l'intensité de la fluorescence d'un colorant indicateur fluorescent sensible à l'oxydation.
