A navigation system for navigating a three-dimensional (3D) scene that includes a model or object with which a user can interact. The system accommodates and helps both novice and advanced users. To do this, the system allows a user to designate a point on a model in a scene and the point is moved to the center of the view.

La présente invention concerne un système de navigation permettant de naviguer dans une scène tridimensionnelle (3D), qui comprend un modèle ou un objet avec lequel un utilisateur peut interagir. Le système est conçu pour aider l'utilisateur, qu'il soit débutant ou confirmé. Pour ce faire, le système permet à l'utilisateur de désigner un point sur un modèle d'une scène, et déplace ce point au centre de la vue.
