A fuel cell system has a membrane electrode composite 8 including an anode 21, cathode 22 and an electrolyte membrane 3 sandwiched between the anode 21 and the cathode 22. A lyophobic porous member 10 is located adjacent to the anode 21, and an anode channel plate 30 is also located adjacent to the porous member 10. A gas recovery channel 32a, 32b and a fuel supply channel 31a are formed in the anode channel plate 30, gas generated at the anode side is recovered in the gas recovery channel 32a, 32b, and a liquid fuel is supplied to the anode 21 through the fuel supply channel 31a. The generating system also includes a circulating system 54 along which the fuel circulates, and a fuel supply section that supplies fuel to the circulating system 54.

La présente invention concerne un système de pile à combustible comprenant un composite membrane-électrode (8) qui comporte une anode (21), une cathode (22) et une membrane électrolyte (3) intercalée entre l'anode (21) et la cathode (22).
