Abstract
(EN)
A medical gas coupling (2) comprises an inlet (3) operable to couple with a pressurized therapeutic gas supply and an outlet (4) operable to supply therapeutic apparatus, or an anallary unit associated therewith, with therapeutic gas. The coupling further comprises a conduit (5) that extends between the inlet (3) and the outlet (4) and provides for the passage of pressurized gas therethrough. A safety valve (6) is located in the region of the inlet (3) and is operable to close the flow of gas through the conduit (5) in the event that the pressure differential across the safety value (6) exceeds a predetermined level.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de raccordement pour gaz médical (2) comportant un orifice d'entrée (3) servant à raccorder une alimentation en gaz thérapeutique sous pression et un orifice de sortie (4) servant à alimenter un appareil thérapeutique, ou une unité ancillaire associée à ce dernier, avec un gaz thérapeutique. Le dispositif de raccordement comporte en outre une conduite (5), traversée par le gaz sous pression, qui s'étend entre l'orifice d'entrée (3) et l'orifice de sortie (4). Une valve de sécurité (6) est située dans la région de l'orifice d'entrée (3) et sert à arrêter l'écoulement du gaz à travers la conduite (5) dans le cas où la pression différentielle traversant la valve de sécurité (6) dépasserait un niveau prédéterminé.
