A conversion control system is described that includes a database to store data defining a set of rules and an interface to receive local anomaly information from a plurality of different analysis machines associated with a plurality of manufacturing process lines that perform a plurality of operations on a web of material, and each of the manufacturing process lines includes position data for a set of regions on the web containing anomalies. The system also includes a computer that registers the position data of the local anomaly information for the plurality of manufacturing process lines to produce aggregate anomaly information. The system further includes a conversion control engine that applies the rules to the aggregate anomaly information to determine which anomalies represent actual defects in the web for a plurality of different products.

L'invention porte sur un système de commande de conversion qui comprend une base de données pour stocker des données définissant un ensemble de règles et une interface pour recevoir des informations d'anomalies locales provenant d'une pluralité de différentes machines d'analyse associées à une pluralité de lignes de procédé de fabrication qui effectuent une pluralité d'opérations sur une bande de matériau, et chacune des lignes de procédé de fabrication comprend des données de position pour un ensemble de régions sur la bande contenant des anomalies. Le système comprend également un ordinateur qui enregistre les données de position des informations d'anomalies locales pour la pluralité de lignes de procédé de fabrication pour produire des informations d'anomalies agrégées. Le système comprend en outre un moteur de commande de conversion qui applique les règles aux informations d'anomalies agrégées pour déterminer quelles anomalies représentent des défauts réels dans la bande pour une pluralité de différents produits.
