Abstract

An average-temperature compensated field device comprises a field module, a temperature-averaging sensor, a microprocessor, and an interface. The field module is configured to characterize a process parameter. The temperature-averaging sensor is configured to generate a compensation signal characterizing an extended region of the field device. The microprocessor is configured to compensate a process signal as a function of the compensation signal. The interface is configured to communicate the process signal via a field device communication protocol.

L'invention porte sur un dispositif de champ compensé en température moyenne qui comprend un module de champ, un détecteur effectuant une moyenne de température, un microprocesseur et une interface. Le module de champ est configuré pour caractériser un paramètre de processus. Le détecteur effectuant une moyenne de température est configuré pour générer un signal de compensation caractérisant une région étendue du dispositif de champ. Le microprocesseur est configuré pour compenser un signal de processus en tant que fonction du signal de compensation. L'interface est configurée pour communiquer le signal de processus par l'intermédiaire d'un protocole de communication de dispositif de champ.
