A fuel cell in which, when its temperature rises abnormally, a flow path from a fuel receiving section to a unit cell is blocked to suppress the abnormal temperature rise. The fuel cell (1) has a fuel supply section (4) connected to a fuel electrode (13) via a flow path (5) and also has a fuel shut-off section (6) for blocking the supply of fuel to the fuel electrode (13) when the temperature of the fuel cell rises abnormally. The fuel shut-off section (6) includes a valve case (61) having an inlet opening (611b) into which the fuel from the fuel supply section (4) is placed and also having an outlet opening (611c) for discharging the fuel to the fuel electrode (13), a valve rod (622) placed in the valve case (61), and valve rod movement means (63) constructed from a spring made of a shape memory alloy or from a bimetal for moving, when the abnormal temperature rise occurs, the valve rod (622) so as to close a flow path interconnecting the inlet opening (611b) and the outlet opening (611c).

L'invention porte sur une pile à combustible dans laquelle, lorsque la température s'élève de manière anormale, la trajectoire d'écoulement entre une partie réceptrice de combustible et une cellule unitaire se bloque afin de supprimer l'élévation anormale de la température. La pile à combustible de l'invention (1) comprend : une partie d'alimentation en combustible (4) reliée à une électrode à combustible (13) via une trajectoire d'écoulement (5); et également une partie d'arrêt de combustible (6) destinée à bloquer l'alimentation en combustible de l'électrode à combustible (13) lorsque la température de la pile à combustible augmente de façon anormale. La partie d'arrêt de combustible (6) comprend : un carter de soupape (61) muni d'une ouverture d'entrée (611b) destinée à recevoir le combustible en provenance de la partie d'alimentation en combustible (4), et d'une ouverture de sortie (611c) destinée à évacuer le combustible vers l'éléctrode à combustible(13); une queue de soupape (622) disposée dans le carter de soupape (61); et des moyens de déplacement de queue de soupape (63) constitués d'un ressort en alliage à mémoire de forme ou en bimétal qui, en cas d'élévation de température, déplace la queue de soupape (622) de manière à fermer la trajectoire d'écoulement qui relie l'ouverture d'entrée (611b) à l'ouverture de sortie (611c).

 本発明は、燃料電池の異常昇温時に燃料収容部から燃料電池セルへの流路を遮断することによって、該異常昇温を抑制することができる燃料電池を提供することを目的としている。 本発明は、燃料極13と流路5を介して接続された燃料供給部4と、前記流路5に介在され、異常昇温時に燃料極13への燃料の供給を遮断する燃料遮断部6とを有する燃料電池1であって、前記燃料遮断部6は、前記燃料供給部4からの燃料が注入される注入口611bと前記燃料極13へと燃料を排出する排出口611cとを有するバルブケース61と、前記バルブケース61内に配置されたバルブロッド622と、前記異常昇温時に前記注入口611bと前記排出口611cとを繋ぐ流路を塞ぐように前記バルブロッド622を移動させる形状記憶合金からなるスプリングまたはバイメタルからなるバルブロッド移動手段63とを有する燃料電池に関する。
