A tactile sensor, in particular with function of artificial skin, having a sensing extended surface (5' ) adapted to detect contact and pressure with an external body (10), comprising a support layer (1), for example of flexible material, extending parallel to the sensing surface (5' ), having at least a light source that emits light at a prefixed angle with respect to the support layer (1) towards the sensing elements, an electronic circuit that connects the sensing elements and said at least one source, a layer of elastic transparent material (2) laid on the support layer (1) embedding the sensing elements, the light sources and the circuit; a shielding cover (4 e 5) that coats externally the layer of elastic transparent material, having externally to it said sensing surface (5' ). When an external body (10) presses on the sensing surface (5') an elastic deformation of the cover (4 e 5) and of the underlying layer of transparent material (2) is caused thus decreasing the intensity of light seen by the sensing elements.

Un capteur tactile, en particulier avec une fonction de peau artificielle, ayant une surface étendue de détection (5') adaptée pour détecter un contact et une pression avec un corps externe (10), comprend une couche support (1), faite par exemple d'un matériau souple, s'étendant parallèle à la surface de détection (5'), a au moins une source lumineuse qui émet de la lumière vers les éléments détecteurs selon un angle prédéfini par rapport à la couche support (1), un circuit électronique qui connecte les éléments détecteurs et ladite ou lesdites sources, une couche d'un matériau transparent élastique (2) posée sur la couche support (1) intégrant les éléments détecteurs, les sources lumineuses et le circuit ; un revêtement de protection (4 et 5) qui recouvre la couche de matériau transparent élastique, ayant sur sa partie extérieure ladite surface de détection (5'). Lorsqu'un corps externe (10) appuie sur la surface de détection (5'), il provoque une déformation élastique du revêtement (4 et 5) et de la couche sous-jacente de matériau transparent (2) qui décroît l'intensité de la lumière vue par les éléments détecteurs.
