In a brake apparatus, an activation current (II) for opening a simulator cut valve from a closed state is applied, whereupon a steady-state current (12) is applied continuously to maintain the open state. A brake control apparatus and a brake control method are employed to perform control in which a valve opening current (13), which is higher than the steady-state current (12), is applied to the simulator cut valve every time a brake pedal is depressed. Thus, in a brake apparatus including a switch valve that is driven steadily by applying the steady-state current thereto, favorable control responsiveness can be maintained in the switch valve at all times while achieving a reduction in power consumption.

Dans un appareil de freinage, un courant d'activation (II) permettant d'ouvrir une valve d'arrêt de simulateur à partir d'un état fermé est appliqué, après quoi un courant de régime permanent (12) est appliqué en continu afin de maintenir l'état ouvert. Un appareil de commande de freinage et un procédé de commande de freinage sont utilisés pour effectuer la commande dans lesquels un courant d'ouverture de valve (13), qui est supérieur au courant de régime permanent (12), est appliqué à la valve d'arrêt de simulateur chaque fois d'une pédale de frein est actionnée. Ainsi, dans un appareil de freinage incluant une valve de commutation qui est entraînée régulièrement par l'application du courant de régime permanent sur celle-ci, une réponse favorable à la commande peut être maintenue dans la valve de commutation à tout moment tout en obtenant une réduction de la consommation d'énergie.
