Aspects of the invention are directed to a process for producing polypropylene comprising: providing series reactors comprising a first and a second loop allowing flow of polypropylene, catalyst, hydrogen and propylene there between, wherein each loop comprises from six to eight legs, each leg having fluid connections there between; injecting into the first loop an amount of a catalyst, propylene and optionally hydrogen; withdrawing polypropylene, and unreacted propylene and optionally unreacted hydrogen from the first loop and injecting the polypropylene, and unreacted propylene and optionally unreacted hydrogen into the second loop; and providing a propylene/polypropylene separator fluidly connected to the second loop and isolating polypropylene therefrom. In one embodiment a recycle conduit is provided between the propylene/polypropylene separator and the second loop allowing the recycling of unreacted propylene and optionally hydrogen into the second loop.

Des aspects de l'invention concernent un processus de production de polypropylène comprenant : - la fourniture de réacteurs en séries comprenant une première boucle et une seconde boucle permettant un écoulement de polypropylène, de catalyseur, d'hydrogène et de propylène entre elles, où chaque boucle comprend de six à huit pieds, chaque pied ayant des connexions fluidiques entre eux ; - l'injection dans la première boucle d'une quantité d'un catalyseur, de propylène et, au choix, d'hydrogène ; - l'extraction de polypropylène, et de propylène n'ayant pas réagi et, au choix, d'hydrogène n'ayant pas réagi de la première boucle et l'injection de polypropylène, et de propylène n'ayant pas réagi et, au choix, d'hydrogène n'ayant pas réagi dans la seconde boucle ; et - la fourniture d'un séparateur de propylène/polypropylène connecté de manière fluidique à la seconde boucle et isolant le polypropylène. Dans un mode de réalisation un conduit de recyclage est fourni entre le séparateur propylène/polypropylène et la seconde boucle permettant le recyclage de propylène n'ayant pas réagi et, au choix, d'hydrogène dans la seconde boucle.
