Provided is an image display device wherein a plurality of pixel circuits are arranged. Each pixel circuit is provided with a current light-emitting element, a driver transistor for permitting a current to flow to the current light-emitting element, a holding capacitor for holding a voltage that determines a current quantity to be flowed by the driver transistor, and a write switch for writing a voltage in the holding capacitor corresponding to an image signal. The transistor configuring each pixel circuit is an N-channel type transistor. Each pixel circuit is also provided with an enable switch, an initializing capacitor for initializingthevoltage of the holding capacitor and a separation switch.

L'invention porte sur un dispositif d'affichage d'image dans lequel sont disposés une pluralité de circuits de pixels. Chaque circuit de pixels comprend un élément d'émission de lumière par un courant, un transistor d'attaque pour permettre à un courant de circuler vers l'élément d'émission de lumière par un courant, un condensateur de maintien pour maintenir une tension qui détermine une quantité de courant devant circuler sous l'effet du transistor d'attaque, et un commutateur d'écriture pour écrire une tension dans le condensateur de maintien, correspondant à un signal d'image. Le transistor configurant chaque circuit de pixels est un transistor du type à canal N. Chaque circuit de pixels comporte également un commutateur d'activation, un condensateur d'initialisation pour initialiser la tension du condensateur de maintien et un commutateur de séparation.

 電流発光素子と、電流発光素子に電流を流すドライバトランジスタと、ドライバトランジスタの流す電流量を決める電圧を保持する保持コンデンサと、画像信号に応じた電圧を保持コンデンサに書込む書込みスイッチとを有する画素回路を複数配列した画像表示装置である。各画素回路を構成するトランジスタはNチャンネル型トランジスタである。各画素回路は、イネーブルスイッチと、保持コンデンサの電圧を初期化するための初期化コンデンサと、分離スイッチとをさらに備える。
