Abstract
(EN)
The invention relates to a method for artificially colouring dark skin. The invention is characterised in that a composition is applied to the skin, said composition comprising a physiologically acceptable medium containing at least dehydroascorbic acid and/or one of the monomers thereof having formula (I) and/or one of the isomers thereof having formula (I') and/or one of the polymer derivatives thereof. In a particular embodiment of the invention, the dehydroascorbic acid can be formed in situ from ascorbic acid or one of the derivatives or salts thereof by means chemical oxidation and/or enzymatic oxidation. In another particular embodiment of the invention, in order to increase the persistence and/or uniformity of the colour obtained following application to the skin of dehydroascorbic acid or one of the polymers thereof and the self-tanning agent, ascorbic acid or one of the derivatives or salts thereof is added to the composition.
(FR)
