The invention relates to a method for preparing an adsorbent, comprising the following successive steps: cogranulation-based forming of a faujasite-type zeolite powder A together with an alumina powder B, the powder mixture containing between 10 and 70 wt.-% powder A; steam treatment; and drying. The invention also relates to a method for adsorption of organic contaminants containing at least one heteroatom and present in an olefin feed containing at least 50 vol.-% hydrocarbons, said method including a step in which the olefin feed is brought into contact with the adsorbent obtained using the above preparation method.

Méthode de préparation d'un adsorbant comprenant les étapes successives de mise en forme par cogranulation d'une poudre A de zéolithe de type faujasite, avec une poudre B composée d'alumine, la proportion massique de la poudre A dans le mélange des poudres A et B étant comprise entre 10 et 70%, de traitement sous vapeur d'eau et de séchage. L'invention concerne aussi un procédé d'adsorption de contaminants organiques contenants au moins un hétéroatome et présents dans une charge oléfinique comprenant au moins 50% volume d'hydrocarbures, ce procédé comprenant l'étape de mise en contact de la charge oléfinique avec l'adsorbant obtenu par la méthode de préparation selon l'invention.
