Abstract
(EN)
A method for dividing a digital image into regions comprises identifying potential region borders based on edge content in the digital image. The digital image is divided into regions based on user-selected ones of the potential region borders. A method of processing a region of a digital image comprises receiving gesture data for characterizing the region. A processing tool associated with the gesture data is automatically launched, and the region is processed using the processing tool.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour diviser une image numérique en régions, lequel procédé comprend l'identification de bordures de région potentielles sur la base d'un contenu de contours dans l'image numérique. L'image numérique est divisée en régions sur la base de bordures sélectionnées par l'utilisateur parmi les bordures de région potentielles. Un procédé de traitement d'une région d'une image numérique comprend la réception de données de geste pour caractériser la région. Un outil de traitement associé aux données de geste est automatiquement lancé, et la région est traitée à l'aide de l'outil de traitement.
