Disclosed herein are a data input device and an input conversion method using the data input device. The data input device includes a detection unit provided in a predetermined input region, the detection unit processing first directional input that generates a first directional input signal through detection of lateral pressing in a predetermined radial direction by a finger placed at a reference location in the input region, second directional input that generates a second directional input signal through detection of vertical pressing in a predetermined direction in a state in which the finger is placed at the reference location, third directional input that generates a third directional input signal through detection of tilt pressing in a state in which the finger is placed at the reference location, and fourth directional input that generates a fourth directional input signal through detection of a tilt input in a state in which the finger is placed at the reference location; and a control unit configured to determine input locations of a lateral pressing direction, vertical pressing direction, tilt pressing direction and tilting direction of the finger, extract relevant data from memory, and input the extracted data; wherein the data is input through combination of two or more of the first to fourth directional inputs.

L'invention porte sur un dispositif d'entrée de données et sur un procédé de conversion d'entrée utilisant le dispositif d'entrée de données. Le dispositif d'entrée de données comprend une unité de détection disposée dans une région d'entrée prédéterminée, l'unité de détection traitant une première entrée directionnelle qui génère un premier signal d'entrée directionnelle par détection d'une pression latérale dans une direction radiale prédéterminée par un doigt placé à un emplacement de référence dans la région d'entrée, une seconde entrée directionnelle qui génère un second signal d'entrée directionnelle par détection d'une pression verticale dans une direction prédéterminée dans un état dans lequel le doigt est placé au niveau de l'emplacement de référence, une troisième entrée directionnelle qui génère un troisième signal d'entrée directionnelle par détection d'une pression d'inclinaison dans un état dans lequel le doigt est placé au niveau de l'emplacement de référence, et une quatrième entrée directionnelle qui génère un quatrième signal d'entrée directionnelle par détection d'une entrée d'inclinaison dans un état dans lequel le doigt est placé au niveau de l'emplacement de référence ; et une unité de commande configurée pour déterminer des emplacements d'entrée d'une direction de pression latérale, d'une direction de pression verticale, d'une direction de pression d'inclinaison et d'une direction d'inclinaison du doigt, extraire des données pertinentes de la mémoire et entrer les données extraites ; les données étant entrées par combinaison de deux ou plus des première à quatrième entrées directionnelles.
