Provided is a device for detecting information on the concentration level of hydrogen. The device includes an air/fuel ratio sensor, air/fuel ratio control means and a detection unit. The detection unit calculates the ratio or difference between the response time after the air/fuel ratio control means switched the target air/fuel ratio from rich to lean and before the air/fuel ratio sensor detects the switching, and the response time after the switching from lean to rich and before the air/fuel ratio sensor detects the switching, thereby to detect the concentration level of the hydrogen. As a result, the device decides the inter-cylinder dispersion and the exhaust purification catalyst degradation.

L'invention concerne un dispositif pour détecter des informations sur le niveau de concentration en hydrogène. Le dispositif comprend un capteur de rapport air/carburant, des moyens de régulation de rapport air/carburant et une unité de détection. L'unité de détection calcule le rapport ou la différence entre le temps de réponse après que les moyens de régulation de rapport air/carburant ont commuté le rapport air/carburant cible de riche à pauvre et avant que le capteur de rapport air/carburant n'ait détecté la commutation, et le temps de réponse après la commutation de pauvre à riche et avant que le capteur de rapport air/carburant n'ait détecté la commutation, pour détecter de cette façon le niveau de concentration en hydrogène. Par suite, le dispositif décide de la dispersion entre les cylindres et de la dégradation de catalyseur de purification d'échappement.

水素の濃淡レベルに関する情報を検出する装置は、空燃比センサと空燃比制御手段と検出部とを有し、検出部は、空燃比制御手段が目標空燃比をリッチからリーンに切り替えてから空燃比センサがこれを検出するまでの応答時間、及びリーンからリッチに切り替えてから空燃比センサがこれを検出するまでの応答時間の比もしくは差を算出して、水素の濃淡レベルを検出する。これにより、気筒間ばらつきと排気浄化触媒劣化を判定する。
