Disclosed is a material for the measurement of a pressure, which comprises a plastic substrate, a color former layer comprising an electron-releasing colorless dye precursor and a color developer layer comprising an electron-accepting compound, and which can develop a color by utilizing the color-developing reaction between the electron-releasing colorless dye precursor and the electron-accepting compound, wherein the electron-releasing colorless dye precursor is enclosed in a microcapsule having an urethane bond, wherein at least one of the electron-accepting compounds is a metal salicylate having a substituent, and wherein the microcapsule meets the requirement represented by the following formula: δ/D = 1.0 × 10-3 to 2.0 × 10-2 [wherein δ represents a number average wall thickness (&mgr;m) of the microcapsule; and D represents a volume median diameter (&mgr;m) of the microcapsule ].

L'invention concerne un matériau pour la mesure d'une pression qui comporte un substrat en matière plastique, une couche de génération de couleur comportant un précurseur de colorant sans couleur à libération d'électrons et une couche de révélation de couleur comportant un composé accepteur d'électrons, et qui peut révéler une couleur par l'utilisation de la réaction de révélation de couleur entre le précurseur de colorant sans couleur à libération d'électrons et le composé accepteur d'électrons, le précurseur de colorant sans couleur à libération d'électrons étant enfermé dans une microcapsule ayant une liaison uréthane, au moins l'un des composés accepteurs d'électrons étant un salicylate métallique ayant un substituant, et la microcapsule satisfaisant l'exigence représentée par la formule suivante : δ/D = 1,0 × 10-3 à 2,0 × 10-2 [dans laquelle δ représente une épaisseur de paroi moyenne en nombre (&mgr;m) de la microcapsule ; et D représente un diamètre médian en volume (&mgr;m) de la microcapsule].
