A luminescent solar collector is provided comprising a sheet and a light energy converter, such as a photocell. The sheet comprises two polymer layers. One polymer layer comprises a polymer and a fluorescent dye or quantum dot. The other polymer layer comprises a polymer and a non-fluorescent dye, and may further comprise an organic diffuser. The luminescent solar collector can be customized to any desired viewing color and provides a high level of edge emission.

Un capteur solaire luminescent est prévu et comprend une plaque et un convertisseur d'énergie lumineuse, tel qu'une cellule photoélectrique. La plaque comprend deux couches de polymère. Une couche de polymère comprend un polymère et un colorant fluorescent ou point quantique. L'autre couche de polymère comprend un polymère et un colorant non fluorescent, et peut en outre comprendre un diffuseur organique. Le capteur solaire luminescent peut être personnalisé selon n'importe quelle couleur de visualisation souhaitée et offre un niveau élevé d'émission latérale.
