Abstract

The invention relates to a gas processing unit adapted for generating a surface plasma in the vicinity of a photocatalyst, that has a planar configuration. The photocatalyst is deposited in the form of a thin layer (4) on a dielectric substrate (3), and at least one plasma supply electrode (1, 2) is formed above the photocatalyst thin layer. Such a configuration increases the interaction between the plasma and the photocatalyst. The unit can be used for a gas processing of the pollution-control, odour reduction or bactericidal treatment type with a high efficiency.

Une unité de traitement de gaz qui est adaptée pour créer un plasma de surface à proximité d'un photocalyseur présente une configuration plane. Le photocatalyseur est déposé sous forme d'une couche mince (4) sur un support diélectrique (3), et au moins une électrode (1, 2) d'alimentation du plasma est formée par-dessus la couche mince de photocatalyseur. Une telle configuration accroît une interaction entre le plasma et le photocatalyseur. L'unité permet un traitement de gaz du type dépollution, réduction d'odeur ou traitement bactéricide avec une efficacité élevée.
